4D Intentional Leadership

4D Intentional Leadership

“You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world….”

– Woodrow Wilson

At 4D Human Being we believe leaders who want to make a difference require a high level of self-awareness, personal mastery, responsibility plus a strong and ever-present focus on continued personal development, partnership collaboration and team development. They also need to be able to communicate with all the people they serve at all levels. Only when a leader is ‘being’ a dynamic, energised and authentic embodiment of the values they espouse are they demonstrating true leadership behaviour. This means they are able to communicate using their body, heart, mind and soul as one, integrated whole.

Takeaways:

  • Understand your leadership impact and style
  • Focus on ownership of your leadership USPs
  • Achieve a step-change in your ability to influence, persuade, motivate and inspire others
  • Become a creative, flexible leader who can respond in the moment and handle difficult situations
  • Adopt a complex, systems-thinking global mindset
  • Broaden and develop your leadership network for maximum effect
  • Develop their coaching style to get the very best from their people and teams

“We run Personal Impact and Communicate With Impact programs for top- level leaders all over the world. These programs have been running for over a decade and continue to be the gold star go to programs for leaders within these organisations. To date we have put over 1000 leaders through our CWI and PI programs across EMEAR, the US and Asia. The facilitators from 4D are the only facilitators I would use on any project I run. The ability, skill, knowledge and impact of these facilitators is second to none”.

Science and Stats:

Leaders should drive employee engagement, yet only 30% of employees are engaged, costing the U.S. economy $550 billion a year in productivity loss. Moreover, a large global survey of employee attitudes toward management suggests that a whopping 82% of people don’t trust their boss and over 50% of employees quit their job because of their managers.

And what does this mean for your business? Research indicates that 30%–60% of leaders act destructively, with an estimated cost of $1–$2.7 million for each failed senior manager.

The Global Leadership Forecast 2018 shows a continued slippage in leadership bench strength (ready-now leaders who can step in to replace those who retire or move on) – in 2018, only 14% of companies have a strong bench, the lowest number seen. Yet organisations that extend development of high-potential talent below senior levels are 4.2 times more likely to financially outperform those that don’t.
