Why it's important
With one in six of the UK workforce experiencing mental health problems, there is a growing awareness of the importance of good workplace mental health and wellbeing. This is not simply because it’s the ‘right thing to do’, but because recognising, valuing, improving and protecting mental wellbeing in the workplace makes good business sense.
By providing the right environment to support people through challenging times you help individuals and create a culture whereby people feel they are able to speak freely and seek help.
